'I went to see Mr Patel following an unsatisfactory experience with a previous consultant. I'm so happy that I did. Mr Patel went through all of my previous test results, took time to explain what my symptoms were caused by and gave a clear and honest diagnosis with a recommended treatment plan. At no point did I feel rushed or unsure about what I was being told as Mr Patel explained very clearly and provided me will follow up literature to read in my own time. I came away feeling very positive. His aftercare communication is also excellent and he responded to any questions or concerns that I sent via email. 'Mr Patel is perhaps one of the finest Doctors to have treated me. I say that as one who works with many doctors and is married to one too. His bedside manner is excellent. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced which is very reassuring, but he also manages to combine that with a humbleness not always associated with such accomplished clinicians. The tonsillectomy he conducted on me this morning was something I was not looking forward to. I had heard accounts of severe pain following the procedure, particularly with patients of my age.
